Topic: what's with this like to fav ratio?

on post #5611052, there are like more than 100 times as many likes than there are favorites.

favorites get moved when posts are deleted if there is an applicable parent post, that post was deleted so the faves were moved to the parent post, then that post was restored.

You can click Events under the History to see details on what's been happening with the post.

The post has been undeleted but the favorites cannot be brought back after being moved. I think those favorites shouldn't have been moved in the first place as this was a different version the post. But that's just my opinion.

Moving favorites is automatic when a post has a parent
While it's a box that can be unchecked, it's unlikely they'd be thinking to uncheck it
In my opinion when a post is deleted it's usually better to replace it with the closest related post (which the parent will almost always fit) rather than just having it go missing entirely

In this case it doesn't look like it was automatic, because favorites were moved 7 hours after post deletion.

Moving favorites is done in a job, there's no telling when that job was enqueued and when it actually started executing
The post events are only created after everything is said and done in that same job

It is extremely unlikely the janitor went back hours later after deletion to move the favorites

Then it must be very rare for it to take this long, because on other posts it's only 2-3 seconds difference between moving favorites and deletion.

the favorites were already moved. They were moved to the parent post when the child post was deleted, and I don't believe the favorites can be moved back even though it was undeleted, although i might be wrong,
