This tag is barely used (with about half being for the comic titled "Devotion", which may be a mistake) and has no wiki description. I would recommend aliasing it to worship, but it's also tagged on depictions of non-religious devotion, such as post #296269 and post #3803119.

Not all tags need to be aliased away to another tag, especially when they are barely used and don't pose a significant problem to regular tagging.
Aliasing devotion to worship is a bad idea for the very reason you have mentioned, it could also be used to refer to 'the act of dedicating something to a cause, enterprise, or activity' or simply as being "loyal" to someone (e.g., filial devotion).

worship keeps getting mistagged on kink posts. Honestly I think moving all of the currently valid worship posts to devotion would be better.
