Topic: Will Age Verification Laws Ever Want Us to Go and Touch Grass?

With the recent upholding of age verification laws by today's Supreme Court and said laws becoming more widespread than ever, I highly doubt that the future of Internet freedom is looking good, and it's not just for porn. Even getting around them via VPNs or something similar will soon be declared illegal in the future.

So this begs the question: if fighting for Internet freedom is not worth it, do we really have to go and touch grass unironically?

PS: I'm going to miss sites like e621.

Countless threads have already been made about this topic, both discussing the state-level and federal-level laws. Not to mention, one topic that you have already made recently.

Unironically, go touch more grass if you cannot survive without porn sites, or at the very least, consider the very-real possibility that you'd be forced to verify your age via a government-issued identification.
e621's upper management has their own contingency plan in the works, whatever that might be considering the current political climate. We will never know what it is exactly until it gets announced and/or implemented.

Also, if this thread was made specifically with the intent to stir up political discussions about the government or to discuss ways to bypass current laws, it will be shut down immediately by the mods.

Well, it's not like I intended to stir up political drama or anything. Just asking questions, that's all.

Also, if such laws extend to social media, news sites, potentially everything, then I'd touch grass for real.
