yeah, but if the MTLs can't agree if 傲嬌 means tsundere or proud or arrogant, or if 病魔 means disease or sick or sickly or stingy or demon, or if 兔 means rabbit or magic rabbit (I guess?), then the obvious middle ground is just not translate it at all.

I don't really see any problems with aojiao_bingmotu it sounds fine to me.

I'm not saying it's bad but the good translations all agree that 傲嬌 is a Japanese loan-word to directly mean tsundere, 病 is sick (no idea how one of them got Stingy lmao) and so on
What I saw when going through different websites was that people typically like google's gemini ai for translating traditional chinese
But getvoila definitely has the best version of Tsundere Demon Bunny and that's just my opinion :P

Ultimately I'm fine with whatever and the optimal solution would be to contact the artist for their own translation if they even know it

I was looking at the photetics and get ao_jiao_bingmo_tu which was too long, but the shorter one may be better. Though as N10 says, since Tsundere is a loanword, some combination like tsundere_bingmotu might be good

Yeah, thats the problem. Even if they understand English, can they properly translate the intended meaning of their name in a way we can make sense of? I contacted the artist when I was making this, hopefully I get a response

Looking into the 'illness demon' part of the name, I keep seeing the term yaoguai and that they are demons that cause illness.
Looking up Tsundere Yaoguai Rabbit gives less than helpful things but I got something: The Rabbit God (Tu'er Shen 兔兒神): While not directly a "tsundere," Tu'er Shen is a fascinating figure in Chinese folk religion, associated with homosexual love and relationships. While his primary association is with love, his stories may have elements that could be interpreted with a "tsundere" lens depending on the specific portrayal.

Hmm. See, my concern was the intention of something like that, yes, where "sickly" might be meant to be interpreted as "devil" or "magic" related. I did see similar things when I was looking into it, but I think I'll leave it alone and see if the artist responds.
