Topic: Music topic once again with a challenge/twist

Posted under Off Topic

With all the music related topics I've seen here, I fail to see one involving video game music. So let's change that with a challenge. What video game music can you find or have come across that if someone had no knowledge of the game or the music that they could be fooled into believing it's not from a game?

First thing is that licensed music for a video game doesn't count (ex: "Billy Jean" in Vice City, "Flashing Lights" in GTA 4). That's music in a videogame sure, but not video game music if you get what I mean. That defeats the point of what I'm trying to do, and it's a copout. And if you still try to bring an example like that you're cheaper than a penny with a hole in it.

Next is that you shouldn't bring up remixes or arranged tracks as your main thing. You can have it as a mention, but try to bring an example that's the original track. And finally, it would help if you could link your example so that anyone interested could easily look into it. Because who knows, you may have some more music you'll add to your playlist.

Leaving my contributions to this topic in a later post. Trying to avoid the wall of text for the beginning of this. If this gets any traction, I wonder how much variety there'll be.

This and this

I was gonna post Justified from Dead Rising, but upon looking it up, it turns out that the song actually existed before the game
Damn it

pretty much any lyrical song from the Metal Gear series, I'll just use this as an example.

I'm trying to wrack my brain to think of anything that isn't japanese, but I really can't think of anything. the only lyrical stuff I can think of from a western studio off-hand is stuff like the Portal credits themes which are very obviously from something.

When I was a kid, a couple of my friends were falsely convinced that the theme song and intro sequence from Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 (PS2) was from a fresh new anime continuation of the saga.

this actually isn't in Minecraft, this is one of several album-only songs.

Never would've guessed. Just thought it wasn't used in the game for some reason.
