Topic: Tag alias: bank_robbery -> robbery

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

upon closer reading, I do not agree with my original assessment. I think this should be an implication rather than an alias. If I were to look up something tagged bank_robbery I'm clearly not looking for just any type of robbery, I'm looking for specifically a bank robbery.

The whole point of the implication system is to allow people to be more specific with their tagging without making searching impossible.

Sorry if this is incomprehensible, it's 1 AM and I'm writing this on my phone.

What I just said, both bank + robbery in the same search will accomplish that

Also, most of the currently tagged posts just depict a general robbery, or even just characters carrying bags of money.

Implication may be a better suit since not all robberies occur in banks.

The reasoning is that "bank robbery" is too specific of a scenario to warrant its own tag in the first place.
