The tag alias #77207 hamburgers -> burger is pending approval.

Reason: Plural to singular. Even though the plural form tag is barely used, I think it should be aliased to burger.

If we want to be technical, you should alias that to hamburger and then have hamburger implicate burger because there is a difference that you can visually tell.
Burger: A sandwich with a ground meat(or meat alternative) patty.
Hamburger: A sandwich with a ground beef patty.

The singular form tag (hamburger) is already aliased to burger.

I do not think that is visible in the vast, vast majority of burger images. You'll get some shade of grey-brown-red-beige on a bun, if you're lucky.

I already assumed so, so it would need an unaliasing

Probably not, you're right, but it easily could
Because as long as it's ground (not even gonna go into how that's visually defined lmao) it can be chicken, mutton, vegetable, whatever
Honestly this feels arbitrary and stupid but that's what these counterpoints are for, half the time (not debasing or devaluing them, just having a laugh at how unserious this is)

Firstly, people aren't going to draw burgers that detailed to the point you can make out the exact choice of meat used in the patty. At most, it is a generic brown slab of meat between buns.

Secondly, if the vast majority of burger is going to be of the "ground beef" variety (i.e., hamburger), you do not tag it separately at all as it is the "default".
We only keep separate tags if it is distinctly different from the "default", such as a having a fish_burger or chicken_burger subtag.
Thus, having a hamburger subtag is completely unnecessary when it would probably make up the majority of burger posts.

Thank you for playing along
