Before the thread is shut, here's my 2 cents.
I personally think that because art is fluid, the viewer's perception of a concept that's part of a stylized artistic representation can behave outside of the standard patterns. I personally don't like animals all that much in real life, but the same animals, with the artistic license anthropomorphism treatment, I find erotically pleasing. It's no different than a person enjoying furry cub art vs. real sexual content involving children.

The ability of separating reality from stylized fiction is crucial for humans to function as conscious viewers. We often cheer when in the movies, the bad guys get the punishment they deserve, but, if you had a gun and the opportunity to kill someone you hate... would you pull the trigger?

That's a false dichotomy. It's not "all or nothing". And not all content has anywhere near the same degree of scrutiny on us for.
Many may argue that it's "no different", but to those that make these decisions it is a world of difference, and policy flows accordingly. Here, and on most sites as well.
