Users seeing an empty tag when searching for an artist based on a signature may jump to the conclusion that the artist is DNP and not bother uploading. Additionally, finding results for both searches can help users find the original source of the art more easily through source fields on existing posts and artist wikis, especially if they are not familiar with reverse search utilities.
