That's not the point. Please actually read what the tags mean as well as any additional context it may mean outside of e621.
As far as abandoned goes, it should mean any characters or objects left behind, such as pets or property being abandoned and left to fend for themselves or rot/decay.
As for abandonment, it lacks any proper wiki definition. It could mean the same thing as above, but it could also (more commonly) mean emotional abandonment as @Nin10dope said on topic #57560.
