The popular but undocumented mostly_clothed tag is not included since it has over 1.2k current uses. Although the synonymous mostly_dressed tag is already an alias for partially_clothed, I'd like to keep this BUR as frictionless as possible and create a separate alias where discussion wouldn't delay simpler aliases in the same batch.

The other aliases are variants of existing aliases or otherwise harmless and unambiguous.

shouldn't semi_nude be aliased to something else? as you can be semi nude (bottomless/topless) and not be partially_clothed since for whatever reason partially clothed just means having a piece of clothing aside, or partially removed. most of the results on its search are not fitting the partially_clothed tag

They are variants of the existing partially_clothed aliases partially_naked, partially_nude, and semi_naked. If those have ambiguity, then all of the current *nude and *naked aliases would need to be removed as well. I think if there is to be a discussion about whether that category of tags should not be aliased, it would be better suited to a follow-up thread since modifying the BUR to instead remove those aliases would add some friction to the ease of approving this one. The posts currently tagged semi_nude can also be manually retagged to avoid being erroneously lumped in with partially_clothed in the meantime.

Edit: I have cleaned up all of the semi_nude tags to the right nude, clothed, partially_clothed, mostly_nude, bottomless, or topless tags. That should reduce some mistags as a result of this BUR. I still encourage creating a follow-up thread if this BUR gets approved or rejected to discuss removing or changing the target of the *nude and *naked aliases if they're a problem.
