Reason: Same meaning for a machine that is used to wash clothes, bedding, etc.

Also, those little metal disks with holes in them, used with screws or bolts. I don't know if they'd ever be tagged here, though.

Considering washer only has 5 total uses all about washing machines this feels like a safe tag. I'd highly doubt someone would ever need a washer tag for that object
After checking the Changes on Posts for washer, every use ever was about washing machines with most getting manually switched to the target alias.
