I fully appreciate the implementation of aliases, but I don't understand the reasoning behind aliasing male_only and male, since they're wildly different things. I was hoping they'd get unaliased eventually, but it's been a while, so I figured I'd make a forum post about it.
I'm not attracted to men - though very rarely finding furry/monstrous male characters hot - so when searching for stuff, I'd filter out posts which only included men. That way, I could search for stuff that only included men if the post also had another female or intersex character.
For instance, I often look up stuff tagged with musk, so male only art comes up a lot. Now, if I wanted to use the male_only tag to filter out solo stuff with just one male character (which is like half the musk tagged posts), it would also filter out every post just containing a guy, even if it's pov stuff like this: https://e621.net/posts/5594279?q=musk
It's an issue with almost all my most searched tags (musk, pubic_hair, armpit_hair, sweat, steam). So please look into it. Thanks
