I feel that there's a fundamental difference between what the humor tag is, and what the silly tag is. From reading the two descriptions, humor would easily be applied to, say, a funny meme or something. However, an example of a post that has silly, but shouldn't have humor, is a character dressed up like a clown, going through an arguably dark/bad scenario. The post would have silly in reference to the clown, but the post itself wouldn't be humor.

should be invalidated in the same fashion as cute, mostly used to refer to the goofiness that is endearing for lack of a better phrase

i can't make out what's relevant about these tagged examples below (there's much more) besides being funny to say "silly :3"
