Topic: Fursona Help

Posted under Art Talk

I can't actually draw, but I'm trying to learn. I put this in art talk so I can know what I want to draw. I also didn't know where else this was supposed to go.

So, I'm trying to design a fursona and Ive been at it for a while, as I am not very creative. The colors I'm using is a dark violet, and a very dark blue. I'll also use black, and probably white for teeth.

In this picture, do you guys think it'd look good if the purple and blue, replaced with that dark violet and blue I'm using, were switched? purple paws on the dark blue fur, and also a black underbelly and muzzle. the eyes will probably also be violet. it's species will be a swift fox. i don't at all want him to look generic.

Edit: Here's a more refined version of my fursona (in first person)

"I am an anthropomorphic male Swift Fox. I am 6'1", and quite chubby. My fur is a very dark, rich blue, fading to black on my chest, belly, inner thighs, and the bottom of my long, bushy tail. My tail has a black tip at the end of the blue on the upper side of it. My muzzle is black around my nose, and that black fur goes up towards my eyes. My large doe eyes are violet, and so are my claws. My paws, nipples, genitals, and mouth interior are dark violet. I have large, pointy ears. I also wear black glasses and am quite cute."

It sounds fine! A thing you can do is use free lineart bases and color them in to test out what markings/colors look good together.

Thank you, I will try that. I just didn't consider any possibilities with drawing because I am very bad at it.
