solo_in_panel

What is this tag? I do not really understand the wiki description, and it seems to be tagged on random solo and solo_focus posts.

The name makes it sound like when at least one panel in a comic shows only one character, perhaps an attempt to avoid the issues with tagging solo on comics where there's multiple characters on a page, but some panel only shows one character. Tagging the number of characters per comic panel like that seems a bit much to me, and also the wiki saying it can be used on non-comic posts (without panels), when one character is the main focus (so not actually solo), and can also be used when the post is already solo, makes it sound very unnecessary and invalid to me.

It has a wiki made last year
It means solo_focus in one or more panels (but says it can be either actual solo or just focus)

It's for tagging comics and/or images that are like comics, etc where there are distinct panels. Since solo, duo, group etc is meant for the total # in the entire image...that makes comics fall into a weird zone. It is technically both a single image and a multi image simultaneously. Because yes it may show 5 characters total, but maybe it's also one solo panel and two separate duo shots and three different settings. So as a supplemental system, doing a way to tag both panels + the overall shown is not a bad idea. There's probably several types of multi-image/image-within-image type things could benefit from it as well.

Although it looks like it needs some tidying and probably a clearer wiki. Has similar can't-count/copypaste/keyword-stuffing mistag issues that any character count tag has. The concept behind it though, isn't bad.
