Topic: [Feature Request] Automatically Disable Blacklist when viewing Favorites

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

This is probably the stupidest/laziest request I've made. Would it be feasible to make a change so that when you're on the Favorites page, your Blacklist is defaulted to Off/Disabled? I know I can literally just toggle it on any pages of my Favorites that have blacklisted items (I have s and q ratings in my blacklist when browsing in general but often favorite the cover/first image in pools/comics). It's such a minute level of optimization/polish that I almost feel like an ass for suggesting it, but I figured I might as well throw it out there. Especially because I didn't find any recent threads when searching for "Disable Blacklist Favorites"

> can literally just toggle it on any pages of my Favorites that have blacklisted items

Also I use my blacklist as an 'extreme' filter so this wouldn't work for me

People really do be finding the weirdest ways to use the site functions.

h-- how, even? what search are you able to do where you're not hitting single digit post results by like 12?

it was originally https://e621.net/posts?tags=dated+-2025+-2024+-2023+-2022+-2021+-2020+-2019+-2018+-2017+-2016+-2015+-2014+-2013+-2012+-2011+-2010+-2009+-2008+-2007+-2006+-2005+-2004+-2003+-2002+-2001+-2000+-1999+-1998+-1997+-1996+-1995+-1994+-1993+-1992+-1991+-1990+-1989+-1988+-ancient_art+ so just adding the year tags to posts with the dated tag, which was about 10 pages of posts

now a second part which is https://e621.net/posts?tags=2025+%7Eartist_name+%7Esignature+%7Eartist_logo+%7Eurl+-dated and then a whole string of artist tags that I've already dated all the art for, but i keep the artist list in notepad and im too lazy to dig it out rn

It's honestly one of the best tools with a surprisingly wide arrayrange of uses

I'm curious if there's a css script for this request in the same vein as disabling the blacklist for Forum profile pictures

I get it. Sometimes some of my favorites are retroactively tagged with one of my blacklisted terms. Other times, I really wanna blacklist a fetish, but the tags associated with that fetish are also used for less extreme pics. It’s gotten to the point that I have to constantly add “-fav:me” to every line in my blacklist. I wish the blacklist automatically ignored favorites or upvotes.

Honestly I didn't even know that addition was possible
That's probably actually the answer I wanted

But it kind gets annoying having to do it for a bunch of lines.

It could, but I've built my Blacklist over the course of many years and mostly successfully isolated all of the tags that I (usually) don't want to see
So now it's a matter of copy/pasting that little bit on each blacklist tag that applies to my favs
Thank you!
