I think keeping the seeing-eye dog tag and having it imply service animal would be better instead of the second alias.

Well, that doesn't solve the issue of some of these not actually being dogs, such as the isopod in the OP.

Probably an intermediate tag to the effect of seeing-eye animal, and either imply or alias seeing-eye dog to that would be best, IMO. Due to not all service animals being for assistance with visual impairment, I think keeping some sort of tag for specifically those to be valuable.

'Seeing Eye' is a brand name for a specific training school so it should be aliased away. 'Guide dog' is the generic term, and if we wanted to keep that as a separate category 'guide_animal' or 'blind_guide_animal' might be best.
