Reason: This is a very silly tag rife with TWYK. The wiki page itself lists many more objective tags that are more applicable.

This could be renamed for Guys_being_dudes since that's a meme
But I don't know if the tag currently being used fits
...Hm, gals being pals is unused, though there are 4 posts under girls being girls.

The meme is extremely broad and effectively synonymous with no_homo. I'm not sure it would be usable.

It could be the definitely SFW version of the tag. Like the "not a cellphone in sight" vibe.
It is broad and I know some people on here hate the meme tags, but I feel like it could be inclusive for wholesome content
I'd prefer if we found a better name for the character dynamic this is in refrence to, friends_with_benefits might be the closest, but ehh...

The tag is way too useful for searching purposes and doesn't have an obvious equivalent by just combining tags. The notion of bros being bros is like, too classic.
Then again it isn't used in any consistent manner whatsoever so maybe it should be

It definitely doesn't imply the exact same feeling :P
Maybe all of these (at least the Safe and Questionable ones) could be aliased to the "not a cellhpone in sight" idea
I dunno I'm just spitballing meme tags now

aye, it dosn't really paint the same image. but bros_being_bros's gendered-ness makes it kinda hard to define satisfactorily. it also makes it hard to tag on non-m/m pairs even though, to me, it feels like two girls or one dude and one girl could feasibly have a similar "bro factor" to what gets tagged with this.
I think lay_the_dragon has a similar problem, where you have the "fantasy warrior" x "boss monster" dynamic without the latter being a dragon but there's no name that fits quite as well. like, you could do "monster_layer" but it sounds, I dunno, kinda crass in comparison and dosn't really give the right vibe.

I think these might just have to be those tags that inherently have holes in the naming convention but are recognizable enough to understand their use. Like sure lay_the_dragon says Dragon in the name, but the iconic nature of the tag is what's really the definition. Like how everyone knows that Dude and Bro aren't strictly gendered terms, but instead a form of friendship or persona

"Bro" most definitely is a gendered term, and I'm not sure if we want to litigate the "is 'dude' gendered" debate.

is the only criteria of this tag that characters are saying "bro" even through we a not supposed to use tags based solely on what the text in the image describes/says?
I struggle to also see how this tag is of any use, seems all just characters simply saying bro or random nsfw with male.
