Reason:
First of all I'm going to admit I've been (mis)using exposed_thighs to mean absolute_territory, because I was unaware of the term until an hour ago. I am responsible for 22 of the 110 uses of that tag (that's one fifth or 20%). Before I go back to correct my mistakes I decided to ask, what is the exposed_thighs tag for? Other posts with exposed_thighs include what should be bare_legs, some also have thigh_cutout, and others are 'absolute territory' that others have tagged. Clearly I'm not the only one who made this mistake, either that or they've been using my tagging to confirm their tagging.

Technically all of those examples have the thigh area exposed, hence the parenthesis around the "mis" in misusing. To the uninitiated (like myself), "absolute territory" sounds like "undisputed land" and "The exposed skin between the skirt and stocking" sounds closer to "exposed thigh."

I decided to jump the gun and make this BUR because some users want to search for exposed thighs but don't know the correct terms.

Exposed tags refer to things that would otherwise be covered, but are being exposed for the viewer to see. e.g. exposed_breasts applies to a character wearing a shirt but the shirt is lifted or torn causing the breasts to be visible. Simply being visible doesn't imply being exposed for tagging purposes.

What about bare_thighs? It is also under tagged and has no wiki. It does have some of the things I was thinking of. But I can also see numerous misuses where nude and pantsless would be more appropriate. Would bare_thighs be a better target?
