Today I learned that comments that do not violate any rules can be removed from the site.

What happened: the animator posted an animation and in the description indicated that "this is my first animation". In response I wrote "it does not look like your first animation". In response, my reply garnered 9 negative votes in a couple hours and was deleted the morning after. Wow. No criticism, no negativity, but the users didn't like it. Looks like e621 has a unique system: if you don't suck the artist's **s, your comments are deleted.

It's scary to imagine what it would be like to be a person who even slightly doubts the godhood of artists and makes even the slightest remark. Probably such a user will be blocked for life ...idk

I am against the voting system - every opinion is IMPORTANT. And if the artist can not withstand criticism - he is not worthy and praise.
But notice, in my case, there wasn't even any criticism! Bravo

not only is your comment still up, but you were quite rude in it. you insinuated the artist was lying and that "something didn't add up."

It's definitely not the first animation And probably not even a tenth. Learning animation is completely different than learning to draw. Usually people start with small scenes, but this... Something's not adding up here

Imagine being this salty about people disagreeing with you.
