Is dick size important to you? Most furry stuff heavily feature huge dicks, more then the "normal" porn i think, so...it's something that comes from real life? Is it just for looks? But then why not going whit something still huge but "realistic"? Also i don't have a fursona or anything like that but if i did i think having that big of a difference in something so personal wouldn't be nice, am i the only one to see it like this?

I think people on this site prefer big ones, even though it's so cliché in porn. It makes no difference to me
I honestly don't care about dick sizes in porn. If it's unbelievably too huge it's distracting the same way as unrealisticly huge boobs would be. As long as it looks like both have fun it's all that matters. And I don't have fursona either but yeah if I did I'd just say what I have irl.

If we're talking in terms of relative sizes and not absolute, I wouldn't say furry porn is special in that regard. It's quite common in all porn media.

Probably for the same reasons why people make attractive characters to begin with. Why restrict yourself to realism when you can do whatever you want? Why not make a character that's a more attractive, interesting and successful version of you?
It's wish fulfillment and fantasy. It's supposed to be indulgent. And maybe(for the body parts) a bit because it's normalized, especially in drawn porn.
I know that it's common in all porn, but with furry things it seems to me to be much more present, to the point that a character with something like a 15 inches dick looks "normal" in a see of other characters that have the same proportions, and yeah crazy proportions are a turn off for me as well, crazy huge boobs, ass, balls and dicks...and for the "restriction thing" i understand that view but also it's your body still, like we are talking about porn here, so we are also talking about masturbation and other "your own body" related stuff, like if your avatar was a wolf guy with a 13 inches dick, and you do roleplays or stuff like that, after some time of talking about your own junk in those terms, wouldn't you feel...disappointed by what you really have? Even if you are still big in reality.
I typically enjoy micro over hyper, but ultimately i don't care that much since it's all fiction anyways.
I like any size, personally. Extremely small dicks are cute and hyper dicks are very fun. I like it when every character in a story has their own size instead of "everyone is huge". All my characters have different sizes and shapes because I like variety.
The only limit for me is hyper dick so huge that the dick itself is several times larger than the character, then it just becomes unappealing to me.

I also think that it's much better when there is actual difference in the dick size of the characters, i prefer a realistic range tho, like from 4 to something like 9 inches, and yeah i also find it really weird when the dick is bigger then the character, happen often with small characters, where they are like 10 inches tall with a 14 inches dick, it looks super dumb.
Visually I like large stuff- ranging from the large end of realistic to.a bit beyond, especially when it's combined with size difference. With toys I enjoy having a variety of shapes and sizes to work with. The large stuff is fun. But my most reliable toy? A relatively safe 5 incher.

There was another part that I didn't have time to add to my comment. Basically, just that part of the reason for exaggerated dick sizes in art is composition and focus. In porn, a lot of times there's a lot of focus on the penis and what it's doing. Increasing the size of focal elements is an easy way to communicate focus and direct the eye. This is also why you'll see characters have larger eyes (makes them more readable and focal on the face). It's not impossible to communicate this with average or even small penises, but it's easier to mess up or lose it in especially more detailed images or full-body character scenes. 'Making it bigger' also emulates something that brains do automatically when you focus your eyes on something.
This is why I hate that tag's name.

That is true, and i understand that for certain stuff you need a huge dick, like if you want to draw some cervix penetration, but also what is wrong with the name of that tag?

Anatomically_correct is for species-matched genitals- a dog with a canine_pussy or a horse with an equine_penis. It has nothing to do with anatomically correct proportions, color, or function, and can even be tagged if it's drawn incorrectly like it's upside down or has parts missing/in the wrong places. It's a fine concept for a tag (and one of my favorite themes) but it has a terrible, misleading name.

Oh i see, yeah i think the realistic penis size tag, is a better fit for what we are talking about in this forum post.
