Topic: [APPROVED] [BUR] BionicHound characters sold

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #11106 is active.

create alias dominique_(bionichound) (11) -> dominique_(louis_lerouxgarou) (108)
create alias elisa_(bionichound) (0) -> elisa_(aspencatte) (9)

Reason: Something that might come as a big shock to many, but recently, the original owner had sold these characters after ten years. Right now, I feel like aliasing the tags right now would be more fitting as to hopefully minimize as much confusion as possible, but if it's better to have the tags just updated, let me know please

The evidence is all right here, including a journal from Dominique's new owner addressing the purchase:

gonna bump this up real quick

Don't do that unless you have more to add to the topic
It won't make the alias more likely to get approved, just forces more users to see it

Honestly, bumping isn't that bad (so long as it doesn't happen too often). A lot of requests can fall through the cracks, so it gives staff a better chance of making sure we don't miss something.

With that said, the recommended option is to make a post in this (stickied) thread: https://e621.net/forum_topics/43250

Fair. I was parroting what other people have said, regardless of my own potential misgivings of the practice of bumping lol
