Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: 401 -> f3lixc4tus

A number should not be an artist tag. Could invalidate it and alias 401_(artist), potentially - just the number shouldn't be assumed to mean the artist.

I was going to say that but with the argument that "pure number" tags are normally associated with year tags (such as 2025).
However, I couldn't find any significant art piece made in the year 401 AD or any other cause to disambiguate it.

Moreover, there are many other "pure number" tags that are in use (e.g., 4*), with an honourable mention for 420.

Yet.

Probably mostly because no one's bothered yet to get around to cleaning them up. At least there is precedent for a cleanup should someone feel like bothering, what with 1312 and 1312 (slogan).

Updated

The bulk update request #11069 is active.

create alias 401_(artist) (0) -> f3lixc4tus (37)
create alias 401guy (0) -> f3lixc4tus (37)

Reason: Regardless, the alias is a good idea, at least with a tweak. Since there were only eight posts, 401 was manually updated so a mupdate won't be needed. However, it's conceivable someone may upload one of the artist's 401 posts.

Addendum: Added 401guy to the BUR.

EDIT: The bulk update request #11069 (forum #448978) has been approved by @spe.

Maybe add 401guy to the list as well.
