Just discovered the washboard abs tag. It's currently only tagged for 4 posts. Should I depopulate it, or is it worth keeping?

Unless it is a literal "washboard for abs", manually nuke it and fix it with the appropriate tag (i.e., abs).

Since it only sees limited use by the same person, it is not worth aliasing away unless it is a big and common problem.
You can also tell the tagger to stop using the invalid tag and to only use the correct tag next time.
