I've been correcting post tags of Charlotte from Bunny Maloney because all this time I thought she was canonically a cow, but the Fandom wiki says that she's a goat, and the Wikipedia page says that the series creator said that she's a lamb? I'm getting a lot of mixed messages from all this, and I'm not sure which one is actually right. What do you guys think? What should I tag her as?

When the common conception differs from the creators I would say Tag her depending on what she looks like in the image. If a common misconception is that she’s a goat you can assume a lot of people think she is a goat and draw her as such. She looks closer to a goat to me, but she could be a horned sheep. I don’t think she looks cow like though.

You can always just go with plain bovid if you’re unsure

Alright, I guess that makes sense. There's a particular user I know of who has been changing the tags to say that she's a goat regardless of depiction, and I wasn't sure what to do about that.

If you feel strongly enough that it is not correct on those posts you may report the post for tagging abuse and let the mods decide.

I will say that I personally think some of your changes are incorrect.

These look like goats. They have short caprine like tails and don’t have anything indicating them to be cows.

I see. I was going off of what I thought was canon, but that's not how things work around here. I'll go ahead and remove the changes and keep it as just bovine for now. Thanks!
