Topic: Tag alias: t4t -> trans_(lore)

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #76225 t4t -> trans_(lore) is pending approval.

Reason: Tags about being trans are all lore tags. You could argue for t4t_(lore) or trans_on_trans_(lore). I'm not sure if t4t is really that useful if turned into a lore tag, though, since the number of lore tags should really be kept to a minimum.

if we are to do away with this tag, I'm wondering if there might be a better target. from what I'm seeing its usage does seem most in line with intersex/intersex and aliasing it there would probably cause less disruption.

I think when faced with a choice of targets where one will be accurate 100% of the time while the other will be <100%, the always correct target should be chosen
intersex/intersex also feels like much less useful of a tag than trans_(lore)

I'd prefer it go to trans_on_trans_(lore) since it is something that people have a preference for and look for. I don't think there's a good way to search for it currently beyond having a dedicated tag.

There are quite a few posts where this tag doesn't line up with that.

As far as I can think there isn't any good combination of tags that will get this result. You can't filter out any of the gender or lore tags and there isn't a combination of them that will consistently work across all permutations.

loreification, then?
