Topic: 80k favs and no alternative to using sets?

Posted under General

Sooo, I may have hit the 80k fav-limit, and now am resorting to the much more clunky use of private sets (of which each user only has a limited amount they can create).
Am I now forever damned to navigate to the "Add to Set" button (yes, I'm aware of RE621's hotkeys, but they do not work on mobile browser), or will the devs at e6 eventually change things? Hell, I'd even be open to the idea of donating some money to those running the site to get a larger amount of possible favorites! (Like an "e621 premium" service, some other threads have been joking about)
Additionally, adding posts to sets does not preserve the order they were added into the set, unlike favorites, which is kinda annoying, if you frequently browse older posts which will then be buried deep in your sets. "order:random" helps mix things up a bit, but it's... not that helpful.
Creating a second account for an additional 80k favs is a sure way to get me banned, so not a solution either.

So, what now? Just sets?

I use upvotes (also sets in some cases). There's no cap on upvotes and they can be searched with votedup:me (or just voted:me, if you don't ever downvote posts, like me).

The favorite cap will not be raised, it was actually lowered for all non-members (aka Privileged and above) a good bit back due to performance concerns, and a lack of people using the increased limits

Why not just grab some program to move your current favorites into sets, which then also clears your favorites then moved on like nothing happened

Upvotes can be used and are unlimited as mentioned above me, but they also do not preserve order

Of course, everyone has their own interests, but why is it so difficult to find people who create a collection of really high-quality content, I'm proud of my collection not because of the size, but because of how much material I dug through to find these diamonds
