Maybe it's because this kink isn't my thing so I'm not well versed in the nuance of it, but looking over both tags I don't see a major difference- in both cases, the birth is prevented.
I see the downvotes, can someone explain why these shouldn't be aliased?
If we're making a distinction, the difference to me would be that blocked_birth implies that someone/something else is preventing the birth (against the birther's wishes), while birth_denial implies that the character giving birth is preventing it themselves (either physically or mentally).

why would that be? that's not generally how I see stuff like orgasm_denial used, which is, from how I understand it, one party preventing another from reaching orgasm.
what you're describing is more like birth_edging.
I'm not against this alias, the two ideas are very similar and can be one tag. On other sites where I've seen the term used, "denial" is sometimes being used as a person being "in denial" about it - rather than something being denied from them. If the general trend on e6 is to mean the latter, then we should adhere to that.
Blocked means something is physically blocking. Birth denial can be due to non-physical means.
