I think it would be a good feature to be able to favorite an artist too. If you want to see the posts form a specific artist you need to memorize the names and search for it, or go to a post of theirs (that you've maybe favorited) and click on the artist manually. I feel like sometimes the process can be so complicated, especially if you can't remember the name of an artist you liked and have too many favorited posts to find them. It could probably just be implemented using separate tab under your "Favorites" page, and accessing the button to favorite an artist could be in their description after clicking the "?" next to their name in the tags. Just an idea I had while thinking about an artist's posts I was looking at.

RE621 lets you follow tags, which effectively allows for this.
Also, you can just literally favorite the searches in your browser.

That exact feature (well, tags in general not just artists) is in RE621.
