today i came across this post with a mega.nz source url and it made me wonder what the strangest source url that has been used on a post was, basically anything that isnt twitter, bluesky, furaffinity, deviantart, inkbunny or derpibooru

Worst sources I've come across were websites that host illegal content. Yes, I reported these.

Any of those absolutely ancient art websites that in practice are not much anything beyond bare bones image database browsing tools.

For me? G-sun 's art is sometimes sourced from archive.org

What did the posts themselves contain? Were they removed?

I think they were like sfm porn. I do remember most were removed, but not for illegal content. They had ended up on those sites likely due to bots or people who collect and upload content anywhere they can. So it would have been an invalid source anyway

Sounds like the bloodhawk incident
Those came up a while back when we were looking at the sources across all posts for sites to add icons for, and the sites they were sourced to were very.. conspicuously named
