Topic: Lore tags for established doms and subs?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

In the course of cleaning up the dom/sub tags I've run into some posts that are tagged dom_turn_sub or sub_turn_dom based either on a story in description, or based on earlier scenes that establish a character as a dom or sub. I've removed the tags from those posts since they violate TWYS, but this shows there is a demand for using external information to support role_reversal kinks.

Under normal circumstances I'd say this seems like too narrow of a use case to justify lore tags, but we do have power_bottom_(lore) and service_top_(lore) tags, which are even more specific.

What do people think?

We do not have these tags, they do not exist
wiki pages can exist without tags existing
Note how there's no post count on either and the title isn't green, tags ending in _(lore) MUST be in the lore category

These are all definitely situations of not what the lore category is for

Huh, that's true. Why were they made, then? Shouldn't the pages be deleted?

What is the lore category for, in your opinion?

I would say that this is an exception to the rule (TWYS) because it serves a genuine purpose and provides a tag for people wanting to see that specific content. People can't search for pools based on a story description or how the scenes progress. These kinds of tags add that context to at least one page in those pools that serve as an anchor for people to latch on to and become invested in the pool. I can personally attest to finding many pools or even just a set of a few images that are linked through parent posts by searching for context-specific tags.
