Topic: Lore tags for mind control and substance intoxication?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

My post in the lore tag request thread has languished for 2 months, so I've decided to make a dedicated thread.

I've encountered multiple sequences that were incorrectly tagged with mind_control or substance_intoxication because those situations were established in earlier scenes, but not visible in the current page. This establishes a demand for using these tags as lore. I believe this is a valid case for a lore tag, because knowing characters are in an altered mental state can significantly change how a scene is perceived.

The lore category does not exist to toss anything that does not fit perfectly within TWYS into it.

I know, which is why I provided an argument justifying why these should be lore.

Bumping this with an example of why this would be useful:

post #5638125 depicts characters smoking marijuana. It is the first in an image sequence, followed by post #5638136. The second post was tagged with substance intoxication based on the previous image, but the tag had to be removed by TWYS rules as the post does not depict any indication of substance intoxication on its own.

I've encountered countless similar examples. This lore tag would be useful for many pools and sequences.

I would re-add the tag to that second post. The character has the telltale "high eyes" with that particular shade of pink. Hell, it even has the marijuana tag

I wasn't aware that was a thing, but alright. It still shouldn't be tagged with marijuana, since that's not present in the image.
