The tag alias #75933 lesbian_on_male -> male/female has been approved.

Reason: From a TWYS perspective, how does one tell if someone's a lesbian or not, especially if she's doing it with a male? Lesbian_on_male seems to be no different from male/female.

The generally accepted method besides stated_sexuality is usually contextual like those pride color pins
At least that's what I regularly see, as someone who browses orientation_play

Not really, we don't keep around tags like this because they do not at all fall within TWYS

We don't tag the sexual orientation of characters regardless of any indicators or lack thereof, orientation play is a thing off on its own which also really does not play well with TWYS but is allowed to hang around because people like seeing that concept

Thinking on it further, besides the family of stated_sexuality tags, I think this alias should actually be to the orientation_play tag since that's literally what it is

Forgive the assumption that the tag was following a train of logic lol
I guess one would have to go case-by-case to weed out which are the orientation stuff and which are just some kind of lore statement or what have you
