You missed the fact that they have active aliases on them, so you won't be able to alias through a BUR (but an alias request can work)

Or, hear me out, remove the aliases in one set of BURs and create a set of followup BURs afterwards rather than spreading everything out needlessly

There are a ton of aliases that would need to be removed and then re-implemented. This seems easier.

There are 27, that's just two BURs

All those seem to have pretty specific definitions in the tag wiki and have decent usage, I think invalidating them is not a good idea

I think they (at least the ones I've looked at infrequently) are well contained and provide niches for something that isn't mostly pornographic in nature
