Topic: Cannot create wiki for “Paw Tattoo Pubic”

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

i’m trying to find a tag for a tattoo that is on a paw. When I try typing “paw_tattoo” I get “Paw_tattoo_pubic”: https://e621.net/posts?tags=paw_tattoo_pubic which I was confused about so I looked and realized it was talking about “bitch tattoos.”

post #4910376 post #4901369 post #4652945 post #4896315 post #1503399

A paw-print tattoo on or near the pubic area.

Reason for edit: Got confused, was trying for a tattoo on a pawpad, not this.

So I tried to make a wiki page to avoid future confusion.
I couldn’t make the edit, as it believed that I was trying to change the tag category. It said that I couldn’t change the tag category. I did not change the tag category.

The purpose of this forum post is to report this as a bug, however
There is a another tag “paw_tattoo_pubic_oriented”:https://e621.net/posts?tags=paw_tattoo_pubic_oriented that is the same tag, except fewer of the posts that are under “paw_tattoo_pubic.”:https://e621.net/posts?tags=paw_tattoo_pubic Don’t know what’s up with that. Does anyone know what’s up with that?

I will also ask for help with searching for the tag I am looking for. Trying to change a tag on post #5432571 “paws_tattoo” which cannot be right, seeing as there is not a paw_tattoo tag that is not “pawprint tattoo”:https://e621.net/posts?tags=paw_tattoo and it is grammatically incorrect in a way that makes it sound weird.
Settled for foot_tattoo.

Note to self. Edit on personal computer later. I cannot DText with “” this. You see this? “” that is not the right format. Stupid iPad. I typed all this on it and I don’t want to type all of it again so I’m putting it up anyway.

Press and hold and the next immediate option should be ".

Alternatively, go to Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Turn off Smart Punctuation.

You know you can make a search by surrounding the tag(s) with a {{}} curly bracket right? and a link to the wiki page with square [[]] brackets
paw_tattoo_pubic
paw tattoo pubic
paw tattoo pubic oriented

The problem arises from creating the wiki, and the site thinks you're changing the category even if you aren't. I wonder why that happens. Doesn't in subsequent edits at least.
