Is there any reason for the _(artist) suffix? If there isn't any ambiguity it should be aliased away from that suffix

The artist's character/fursona uses that name too.

Although the tags for both could be cleaned up tbf

The suffix is still unnecessary and should be aliased away, regardless of what they're using
Like a lot of users who don't know better they might assume that's how you change the tag type, or that it's required, etc

Presuming none of the tags have existing aliases, yes

So let's clear things up yes a BUR can alias and imply stuff, alongside other functions. However you have to make sure that there aren't any active/pending aliases/implications on the antecedent (the one that goes first) tag. Your current pending alias above is making your BUR throw errors, the kind that stops you from being able to make a BUR (which is different (and worse) compared to the kind that blocks a BUR from approval, but allows it to be made).

Reject your current alias above and make a BUR.

Speaking from a biased perspective, I would say BURs are simple enough (you only have 6 commands), it's the errors that kill ya
