The tag alias #75488 contortionism -> flexible has been rejected.

Reason: Synonyms, contortion and contortionist are already aliased.

However, I could see an argument for unaliasing contortionist and canonizing contortionist/ism an extreme version of flexible, let me know what you think.

I like the idea of a tag for flexible and contortionism. While there is a bit of grey area between the two, looking at the tags it seems like there are few under contortionism that could be argued to be merely flexibility, and vice versa.
It seems that there is a distinct kink element to contortion that isn't captured by the flexible tag.

Yeah, let’s go with option two. flexible has a bunch of implications that cause it to appear on posts that are nowhere near what you would expect of contortionism, like splits. Flexible yes, but not contorted.
