Hey, when reading the rating guide, I came across the term "heavy BDSM" that seems a bit vague, so could someone specify for me pls, thank you in advance. Also is every BDSM not made out of houshold items explicit and what exactly qualifies as a household item?

For "heavy BDSM" it's just that a bunch of different kinks/toys can be added onto the normal BDSM. A character being tied up by rope and gagged isn't enough to make it explicit, can also just be a capture without sexual intent. Jamoart's art shows some good examples of "light bondage".

But add more things on the rope and gag (degradation, kinky outfits, clamps, breath play, etc.) and you'll get to the point were the kinks add up and "questionable" just won't cover it anymore. For reference, many of bigtiddyfox 's post would go into the direction of "explicit", even without the visible genitals.

For the rating it doesn't matter if the BDSM is made out of houshold items (can be questionable or explicit depending on the other contents of the post), they are just mentioned in the guidelines as an example for light BDSM as a contrary to dedicated BDSM equipment like a Saint Andrew's cross.
But the moment sex toys are involved it's explicit without further questions.
