The tag implication #66387 racing_suit -> racing_uniform is pending approval.
Reason: While going through and tagging some of the automotive related posts, I noticed that some characters may feature a racing related uniform that is not exactly a fire-suit. It got me thinking that all fire-suits are a type of uniform for racing, but not all racing uniforms are fire-suits. I personally think the tag should be implicated.

I would have preferred the alias you have rejected . As far as I can tell both are the same thing, so an alias would be appropriate.
Also, I have a distaste for most tags ending on suit. All of the color_suit tags refer to the business kind of suit, but are used too often for skinsuits or when people just mean clothes in general.

An alias would probably work too. When going through and editing tags, I just assumed racing_suit referred to a fire suit, and racing_uniform could refer to things that the team officials wear. There are a few posts that I had tagged as being a racing uniform but not a suit since they were in multiple clothing parts. The reason I think an alias could also work and achieve the same purpose is that adding the skin_suit or jumpsuit tag to a post tagged with racing_uniform would clarify just what type of uniform it is.
