Topic: Should speciesism be tagged for this post?

Relevant dialogue: "I love that about dogs... You always know when they like you!"

This feels like a fantasy equivalent of racial fetishization (which is generally considered to be racism), but it's not the kind of overt xenophobia used for the vast majority of speciesism posts. Would people who use the speciesism tag object to seeing something like this in there?

(I suppose a related question could be if a racial fetish tag is warranted, but I assume it would be too niche.)

With no response to this, I've decided to make a species fetish tag and apply it to the post. I didn't know about species play until after I did so, but looking at the tagged posts makes me think there is a legitimate difference.

I'm now pondering post #1344378, which has a character mention he dislikes the roughness of his partner's feline tongue. That's more just drawing in-story attention to animal characteristics, which is a trope I personally enjoy but which is probably too ubiquitous in a furry art archive. (It would probably have to be added to every instance of animal genitalia, which would be silly, or only apply to non-genitalia animal biology, which would probably be too confusing.)

The answer to your original question should be found here on topic #54651.
Based on the votes, you can probably see the disapproval in linking the positive aspects with the negative aspects (i.e., speciesism and species_fetish should stay separated).

However, in my opinion, I am against the whole tagging based on text part as seen in my comments on topic #54650, so I wouldn't be able to comment on what is eligible and what is not.
