Topic: Uploading a webcomic with permission

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Hey, I gotten explicit permissions to start uploading comic pages weekly of the Palworld Heartsong comic. https://e621.net/pools/42839.
The artist has said they will still be posting more recent pages on their webcomic site but i can start uploading older things here. I know we have only 5 pages rule with webcomics but since I have gotten explicit permission (I am willing to show proof) can I start to bypass that rule to upload the comic weekly.
If you are curious on how the relationship works. I will be posting the comic starting at page 1 weekly here while they will be posting their comic at page 39 weekly on their site so if anyone want to catch up they can go to the webcomic site but if not, they can read here slowly.

The webcomics rule only applies to comics that earn their artist an income, such as behind a paywall or exclusively on a site in which they're paid via ad revenue (i.e. a webcomic site). If the comic is available in public galleries like DeviantArt or FurAffinity where it wouldn't earn the artist money, then posting it in its entirety is fair game. If you have the artist's permission to upload the comic, that's just as good. Knock yourself out (figuratively speaking).

With that said, I'm triple checking. Am I good to post it?

Yes, just leave the permission in the pool description or the description/comments of the first post in the series. You don't have to put it in every single post.
