Topic: Why was this post tagged male/male?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

post #5064626 is a feral/feral artwork of feathertail_(warriors) (canonically female) and crowfeather_(warriors) (canonically male). You can't really tell this from the art as cats aren't sexually dimorphic and there are no visible genitals, so the canonical sex of the characters seems like what should be relied on. Yet, for some reason, until today, the art was tagged as male/male. I changed it to male/female, but I have a nagging worry that there's extra context that means male/male is the appropriate tag. Can someone shed light on why this tagging decision was made?

The long eyelashes on the bottom character would indicate to me that they're female, since long eyelashes have long been a gender identifying trope.

Thanks for the input. Personally, I think male/female is the most appropriate, because it fits with Tag What You See best (although it's mildly ambiguous it definitely looks more like male/female to me in hindsight, and in the abscence of other indicators, the eyelashes do convey gender).
