Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: ear_penetration -> auricular_penetration

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #74301 ear_penetration -> auricular_penetration has been rejected.

Reason: Switching to the adjective form, like with most other penetration tags. "Auricular" shares the same meaning as "aural", without being an homophone with "oral".

EDIT: The tag alias ear_penetration -> auricular_penetration (forum #433013) has been rejected by @spe.

Not a fan of moving to adjectives most of the user base don't know or can't intuit. Would've been tentatively for aural penetration though

Wouldn't the alias be enough to allow users to discover the tag or to ignore the new form entirely if they don't want to bother learning the word? As for "aural", again too close to "oral", not a great pick when both are likely to be used in close proximity.

or we could just call it something like "ear penetration" and then everyone would know what the tag means just by looking at it.
