Maybe it's just me but out of curiosity I peek under those '(n) Comments Under Threshold' once in awhile and noticed recently they stopped working.

I click on one and my browser chokes to death then gives the usual SITES DEAD JIM! page after a long period.

Thats just the site timing out from traffic.....it still works for me.

On my end, it just takes a bit (less than 10 seconds).

Also, there's no -- quick -- difference for "below threshold" and normal posts (besides score) after clicking that link.

Well the old behaviour used to just show the hidden comments. There was no need to load endlessly. I only get the DEAD JIM page after it sits there churning some times. Most times the browser just sits there endlessly 'loading' :P

Have you tried another browser? I'm having this problem on Chrome exclusively, and it just links to a blank white page. Using a different browser usually fixes it.
