Topic: [APPROVED] Tag implication: facehugger -> alien

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #62984 facehugger -> alien has been approved.

Reason: to quote the wiki "A creature from the Alien franchise. The face hugger is a small crab-like alien with a long tail. It attaches itself to prey's face to implant a Xenomorph embryo, then falls off and dies."

EDIT: The tag implication facehugger -> alien (forum #405135) has been approved by @spe.

I'd rather alien be invalidated due to being highly vague with no consistency.

it's as consistent as any other made-up designation for made-up species.

Not really. Made up species generally require some general defined appearance, some way to be able to say 'that is that thing' or 'that isn't that thing'. A felkin has a defined appearance, which can't be tagged on random things that don't look like a felkin, for example. An alien can be literally anything, and can look like anything, from a lion anthro, to an octopus with a glass bowl helmet, a large insect, a walking dildo, or a living vagina. We try to avoid species tags that apply based solely on the say-so of the creator.
