Topic: Tag alias: chubby_girly -> Slightly_chubby_femboy

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #70055 chubby_girly -> slightly_chubby_femboy is pending approval.

Reason: Both the chubby_male/chubby_anthro/chubby_humanoid tags got updated to have the "slightly_" added towards the beginning, and it looks like girly got changed to femboy

So the chubby_girly tag is in need of an update too

I believe we're trying to avoid turning femboy into a gender tag. femboy slightly_chubby_male works fine.

I would reserve these type of tags for things that can't easily be searched for.

I'm not defending my tag again, I've already had to when I initially made it, all I need is an update.

All I'm gonna repeat is femboy slightly_chubby_male does not narrow it down to a character that has both attributes, you'll often get a mix of those features split between two or more characters, and considering how many posts I was able to add that tag to already, I'd say it's a perfectly justified tag

Are we really turning femboy into the 9th gender tag?

It really seems like we are, especially since femboy/femboy wasn't aliased back (the girly/girly alias was also removed and never redirected anywhere), and there's some requests to validate femboy penetrating/penetrated and more

Actually, the proposal was just to validate femboy_on_femboy, femboy_penetrating and dominant_femboy because currently they are extremely difficult to search for (any search combination will give you primarily the opposite results of what you're looking for).

Scaliespe proposed in the other thread that we alias away unnecessary tags like femboy_penetrated or femboy_on_female where femboy male_penetrated and femboy male/female would return the same results. In the original post's case, as I pointed out, this tag would be functionally identical to femboy slightly_chubby_male and thus isn't really necessary.

It's mixed, yes, but it's primarily correct for what you're looking for, unlike something like femboy male_penetrating. In fact, I'd say it's predominantly slightly chubby femboys, not femboys with other slightly chubby males.

Something needs to be done with this, it exists in a void with no implications and old terminology where it cannot be aliased to the new terminology due to this alias that should be rejected blocking it

femboy is still not a gender so this seems like a very cut and dry rejection

Votes are not the only deciding factor, they are just a measure of how a minority of the userbase that actually uses the forums feel and really more of a suggestion (decisions have absolutely been made against the popular vote before)

And as Watsit mentions, you're misrepresenting the numbers by not counting the meh votes anywhere

I've always viewed meh votes as a sort of -0.5
If you like all of the BUR, it's an upvote, disagree with the overall concept and so it is a downvote, and if there are some minor issues with it or if it's not the best course of action, it's a meh vote

A true neutral vote is just not voting at all

I'd agree that if anything meh is definitely more on the negative side, meh voters clearly have some problem with it but either don't feel that strongly or only have problems with parts of it

We currently have 9 down, 2 meh, and 7 up
So before counting mehs as anything it's already a losing battle, but with mehs as -0.5 it's 10:7 for disagreeing

Was not meaning to misrepresent, I was treating Meh as a Decline to Vote kind of thing, as if to say "who cares" without actually replying
But that's my inexperience showing

My 7:5 reply wasn't meant to dictate the outcome, moreso to check the matter-of-fact attitude DMC had by declaring it a cut and dry rejection in contrast of people's opinions
But the numbers have changed so that's moot

inb4 someone asked friends to vote against it out of spite

I said it is an easy rejection because we have already decided that femboy is not a gender tag, and thus the subtags it will get are limited to niche fetishes that have a lot of desire and would otherwise be near impossible to find (e.g. dominant_femboy, which I'm definitely still on the fence for but welcome much more than this)

Ironically all of the replies here debating whether it's valid/should be rejected/how the votes are keep continually bumping it to the top causing more power users which likely agree with the "not a gender" sentiment, and thus would see the request rejected

Fair idea, the idea or primarily limiting subtags or tag addendums to gender is fine
I can't say how demanded the fetish of fat chubby femboys (basically shortstacks?) is
But something definitely should be done to change the tag because it does have a high amount of posts using it
