The tag alias #64378 cyanotic_epithelium -> blue_flesh is pending approval.
Reason: blue_flesh is an older tag, uses casual language, meaning is broader.

I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the term *_flesh to refer to epithelial tissue. the term "flesh" is usually used for like, meat.
from Merriam-Webster:
flesh
1.a: the soft parts of the body of an animal and especially of a vertebrate
especially: the parts composed chiefly of skeletal muscle as distinguished from internal organs, bone, and integument2.a: edible parts of an animal
5: a fleshy plant part used as food
also: the fleshy part of a fruit
(most of the other definitions are broader or more metaphorical)
I think a tag name like <color>_epithelium would be better, despite being a bit of a obscure term.
also a tag containing the term "cyan" feels like it should be aliased to the corresponding teal_* tag.

Not sure how this thread got bumped with no activity in the past year, but do we really need a tag for this in the first place? Even if it's a real biological phenomenon, fursonas with unnaturally-colored body parts is super common and doesn't imply any sort of scientifically-possible condition.
Also I could have sworn this tag used to be implied by a bunch of different [cool color] [hairless body part] tags. But currently it's not implied by anything. Even so, it is currently being used for everything from teal to purple.

it was unhidden, I think.
