I find it weird how there's a keyboard shortcut for favoriting but not for voting. I would love that feature to be implemented because it would help convert my favourites into votes

This came up at least once before - topic #33762. It would be a nice feature, that's for sure.
If you're willing to install a userscript, this is possible through RE621.
