Reason:
Mal0 (spelled with a zero) is a common misspelling of the SCP. People mistake the capitalized 'o' in its name as the number zero, rather than the letter 'o'. It's a understandable mistake, due to MalO's relationship to cyberstuff.
There's quite a handful of tags that uses this incorrect tag, so it's best to make an alias to clarify to future submissions.

malo is easier to remember than the scp number, at least for me :p

And the malo character is scp-1471-A, which I think doesn't have a name, while scp-1471 is just an app called malO.

For a tagging purposes, they're pretty much the same thing.

It seems scp-1471 and mal0/malo it the name of the app (and not really something often if ever depicted), but people use it interchangeably referring to the character, while scp-1471-a is actually the (unnamed) character.

Selfbump, because this small issue still stands. 70 entries with the incorrect tag, way too much of a hassle to individual fix each one.

I give my thumbs down since malo isn't a unique name. It also seems there are different versions of Malo, some are species, some are characters. So a disambiguation may be in order.

Yup. I did not even know that there are other versions of SCP-1471-a. I know that Mal0 is technicallyi s an app name which is SCP-1471 but nobody really tags an app anywhere and many people call SCP-1471-a Mal0 because it's simply easier to remember and say.

Species/character name malo and Mal0 is weird. It's a bit like with Renamon. It's basically character species and also name they go by. Certain instances of Mal0 can have different names/nicknames but they look mostly the same. Making different tags for each one is stupid. Going with this logic every single one variation of character like species swap or turning from sci-fi to fantasy or something should also have separate tags.

IN topic #18487 Furrin Gok shown differences between at least some more popular/known variations. I think that 0.9 may be distinct enough to maybe warrant separate tag but I've seen bigger differences between characters just because of artstyle than the ones mentioned between 1.0 and 1.1 there

I don't know. Alias SCP-1471-a with Mal0 because many people call her like that. Make it imply malo species. Change malo 0.9 tag from species to character and imply malo species?
I think that would clear most of the mess.
